A trip to the iconic club on the Sunset Strip the year Led Zeppelin took residence and the Velvet Underground headlined.
Chateau, 1970: A deep musky rose tucked in by crisp modern linens and vintage armoire woods, illuminated by subtle grapefruit citrus and warm nutmeg. Inspired by the end of an era. Led Zeppelin’s stay in 1968, Sharon Tate’s residence until February of 1969, and Jim Morrison’s final hurrah in 1970.
Zuma, 1975: Dry, warm bourbon vetiver and cool floral coriander open up to heady Jasmine Sambac as salty, foamy ocean waves cling upon sweet beads of sweat on tanned skin drying down to a delicate, creamy sandalwood and sandy hibiscus musk. An ode to Neil Young's 1975 album of the same name and the iconic Malibu beach.
